The kids love chicken wings! Last night they got down-n-dirty, eating them :) The problem for this Mama is that they can each eat a LOT of them...so next time we will have to make a double batch!

Good Little Bowlers

Bowling was never a sport I got into much growing up (my brother, Jerod and my dear friend, Amber, did though...so I'd hear about "Saturday morning league" from them :)... Bowling is so much fun now, as an adult! Our kids, have gotten the opportunity to bowl quite a few times over the past few years...and they really enjoy it, too!

"All I Want for Christmas..."

Bryton asked Santa for: "An Electric Guitar and a new Basketball bag" Avery asked him for: "A ZuZu Puppy and another American Girl Doll" And of course they both told Santa they've been "very good." Hmmmm, this Mama isn't so sure about that!

Thanksgiving in Indiana

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Indiana, filled w/ lots of family and friend time. We are thankful!

Avery's dance class is quite the group of little dancin’ queens! (her teacher was one of my dance teachers, from Avery's age through high school, so I’m loving that Avery is into this so far!)

More Halloween Pics

I'm hoping I receive pictures from people who took them of our kids, soon, b/c I apparently did not this year :( Not good of me, huh?! I have attached Bryton's class picture, though, as well as a few pics from their Halloween parade at school (cousin Caden is the mummy and Addison is the witch :). Bryton decided to be a Colt's player at the last minute, rather than a Wolf (to go along w/ his sister, Little Red Riding Hood). However, he did dress as the Wolf for trick or treating, to make his Mama happy!

Galena's Halloween Parade - B and A (aka Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf (who lost his mask in the pic, b/c apparently he can't breathe well out of it :( )had a great time, w/ Uncle Randy, Aunt Julie, Grandma Cheryl, and the rest of The Gang; Jeremy and Amber's (aka the pic Simmons and his pregnant (yeah, yeah, yeah!!!) loyal follower) Annual Halloween Bash - so much fun, as always! - Brian and I went as "Boner" and "Boneress" - (sorry Grandma's who read my blog - cover your eyes when you look at the picture closely - and sorry that you can't see my costume very well, but I matched Brian w/ one exception, I glowed in the dark!!!)

As of yesterday afternoon, this sweet home has 2 very excited new owners. What a great place to raise a family - we are thankful we had such a perfect spot in the great town of Lena, the past 7 years. And we are excited for our next step in homeownership, over here in beautiful JoDaviess County!

Boating Season Comes to an End

The boat is put away for the winter - and we have lots of great memories of another summer of fun in the sun out at ACL!
