An Extra Special Day

Besides celebrating "Aunt Corey's" birthday this past Sunday...we watched the big game , and it was the first time Grandma Joyce held her newest Great Granddaughter :)

A Prayer...

Praise to you, ever-watchful God, for you are our refuge and strength in every time and place. Send your blessing upon those who are serving our country in the armed forces. By your powerful Spirit, shield them from all harm. Uphold them in good times and bad, especially when danger threatens. Let your peace be the sentry that stands guard over their lives, so that they may return home safely. Look with compassion on all victims of war; ease their sufferings and heal their wounds. Put an end to wars over all the earth, and hasten the day when the human family will rejoice in lasting peace. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns as the Prince of Peace, both now and for ever. Amen.

Engle Update

We are adjusting well to a family of 5! Avery lost another tooth! Lily is eating well, and she is sleeping in about 4 hour chunks through the night! Yeah!!!! Makes this Mommy happy - sleep is a great thing :) She hates baths and poopy diapers. She likes her binky, but only for about 15 min., if I'm trying to tide her over 'til she gets fed - and she prefers one specific kind of binky overy another! She is watchful, when she has her eyes open. Lily doesn't like to be completely swaddled - she wants her arms free because she usually sleeps with one up by her face. Bryton and Avery are adjusting well, too...they are helpful (most of the time :) and loving. Our first "outing" was this a.m. when I took the kids to school. It went smoothly, and Lily was awake the entire ride, so the kids got to talk to her on their way to school!

Lily Grace Engle born 9/1/12 at 7:48 a.m. 6 lb 9 oz, 18.5 in We were blessed with Lily's arrival this past weekend! We are doing well, and are so very, very thankful for our 3 healthy and beautiful children!

Fishing with Nana, Celebrating Cousin Valerie's Birthday, Driving Uncle Randy's Backhoe and Excavator, Golfing in the Wildcat Open and sitting on Great Gpa Rife's Bench, and Chilling with Oldest and Youngest Engle Children :)
