Halloween Candy - Any kind, but my fav's are any chocolate peanut butter or chocolate caramel combo - Mmmmmm...I love this time of year!; Fall Bow Hunting Season w/ my Husband - This is peaceful for me, even when it is rainy and cold; Baby Lotion - again, any kind smells nice and clean on our babe's skin - what have we used so far? - oatmeal, lavender, and regular scents; Mary's Mantle - I've only been there once, but have sent Mom on a few excursions there after work, to buy very special Christian gifts; Three Sisters Guest House - Brian's family will be staying there tonight, while they visit for Lily's baptism - check it out: http://www.threesistersguesthouse.com/#!.

Avery Turns 7 Years Old

I'm not sure how it happened so quickly, but Avery is now 7 years old! She had her first slumber party this past weekend! We packed in all her favorite things...a scavenger hunt, craft time (guords made into bird houses), campfire, dance party, pretend playing (house, store, concert, etc :), jumping on the trampoline, birthday gifts, hide and seek, tag, dress up, a movie, and ice cream sundaes! Avery is a little girl full of personality. She enjoys playing with her friends and is quite the little social butterfly. Her Dad and I think she is smart and beautiful (of course we do :) She is not a morning person; she prefers salt over sweet when it comes to food; she likes watching TV and playing Wii; she is very good at coloring and is getting better at drawing, when she has the patience; and Avery is a good little helper. Her mix up of words on a regular basis (i.e. KOA is K-I-Say) and "take" on life ("Well, tough, just deal with it, Bryton!" makes us laugh. Happy 7th Birthday, Peanut...
