Another Milestone

Yesterday, Bryton swam his laps at the Lena pool. Those of you who are from Lena can truly appreciate what this accomplishment means for him :) It was his first day at the pool this summer, outside of swim lessons, and he decided he'd do it right off the bat. So, now he is on his own...between the waterslide, diving board, tube slide, and just "hanging out" with his friends (so he says) he's a very busy guy :) I'm proud of him, sighhhh...it does make this Mom a little sad to see how quickly her little man is growing up.
Oh yes, and he's doing front and back flips off the diving board, and he's pretty darn good! (yikes)

It's St. Joe's Strawberry Social Time!!!!

Come one, come all, as this fantastic long standing event is held tonight at the Lena Comm Center from 4-7 pm!!! Dinner includes heaping pulled pork or barbecue sandwiches, homemade potato salad, loaded baked beans, chips, and of course fresh homemade strawberry pie!
MMMMM....we'd love for you to join us! Carryouts available. Adults $8/children $5. Whole Pies available for sale, as well.
