Bedtime funnies....

Bryton...

"Mom, why are you wearing a hood in the front of your shirt?"
"Huh?!" (as I look down...granted, this is the shirt he'd seen me in all day and he hadn't said a word)
"That, the hood. Your shirt is on backwards."
"Eihhhhhhhhh" (me laughing...yes, Jerod, like a hyena)
"Bryton, that is my collar, this is a sweater with a big stretched out neck" (love that cowl neck sweater, btw!)
"Ohhhh!" (then Bryton's belly laugh came :)

Avery...

"Our Father...Who Art In Heaven...Hallowed Be Thy Name...Thy Kingdom Come...I Will Be Dumb.... On Earth as It Is In Heaven"
"Avery, what did you just say?"
(Avery repeats and again, I start the hyena laugh and correct her")
"Ohhhhh!" (then Avery's belly laugh came)

A Sweet Thanksgiving Message...

Bryton brought home from school a card and colored "sack" of goodies, which he'd drawn a turkey on, that held the following....

"A rubberband to keep our hearts tied together.
A candy kiss to say thank you for your love.
A penny to say thank you for sharing my thoughts and letting me know they are important to you.
A warm fuzzy to make you feel good when you are sad, like you always do for me.
A bandaid to say thank you for all of the times you make my hurts feel better.
A facial tissue to say thank you for all of the times you dry my tears.
A lifesaver, a circle, to show that my love will never end."

Such a sweet, sweet gift...and he has had an interesting school week (it has only been 2 1/2 days long, too!)....so the timing is perfect :)
