"Mono Boy"

Bryton's teacher has given him this nickname, 'cuz yep, thats what we are dealing with in this household this week...a lovely case of Mono :( As you can see by the pic, he's pretty wiped out...

"Huh?! Where did you hear that?"
"Well, Mom, your hair looks craaaaaazy!"

Yes, this was the start of Avery's special prayer list last night, and it gave her dad and I a good laugh (b/c my hair did look pretty bad) but jeeeeez, what a Diva we have on our hands these days!

Christmas Break Fun!

After a very nice Christmas, the kids are happy they get a few days off from school yet! They went skiing out at Chestnut Mountain w/ Grandma Cheryl yesterday, as a special treat, and the report was that they both did GREAT! Avery rode the Magic Carpet up the hill each time (easier than a tow rope or a chair lift for the little people, is my understanding). Their instructors were awesome and Avery jibber jabbered to all of them :) Bryton was on the Ranger slope and in the zone! He rode the chair lift. Their lessons were from 1-4 pm, so they are now better at down hill skiing than their mother!
