Our "New" Dinner Table

Our dinner table has moved from picture 1 to picture 2 the past few weeks. Can you imagine us sitting around the little kid's table? It's quite comical, especially when Brian sits on the little wicker couch :) The kids love the new location, but I don't think we'll make it permanent.

A Few Things That Have "Clicked"

Avery drew a ghost and a spider for me yesterday afternoon. The ghost was a long oval, with 2 eyes, a nose, and a smiling mouth (she says its a nice ghost), 2 legs, and 2 arms. And all body parts were in the right place! Same goes for the spider, w/ many legs all the way around it. It was a happy spider, too, w/ a smiling mouth :)

Bryton's doing very well w/ his drawing and tracing. Brian has a ton of old "how to draw" books from when he was growing up. His mom saved them all for him. So, Bryton's past time of choice these days is to draw, step by step, from these "new" books! His favorite objects to draw are planes and animals, so far.

Halloween-Time Fun

We got right into the spirit of Halloween...w/ a costume party at our dear friends, Amber and Jeremy's, house the other night. I'd say that a great time was had by all! Well-thought-out costumes, festive decorations galore, plenty of food and drink, and silly friends made for a fun party !

Wow, Where Has the Week Gone?

It is Thursday already...yikes! We've had a bit of a crazy week here this week, w/ 2 sick kids, Bryton's Kindergarten Open House, etc., etc....so I'm really not surprised that Thursday has crept up on me already. So, now Brian and I are praying we don't get this puke bug :( Too much stuff going on around here to be sick!
