As I write this, we have 4 deer in our freezer thanks to Brian! Yeah!!! That also means 2 bucks on the wall (yes, our taxidermy bill will be high this year, but if I were Brian I'd want those big guys on the wall too!)
As for Jerod and I...we are new to this sport, and we are both having a great time. Jerod got a doe this past weekend, which was very cool. Shean was out with us too, so we were all in different stands and it is funny how much cell phone texts on silent can help a hunt...or at least keep us all excited b/c someone is usually seeing something at some point.
And so the work week and school week start back up, and it is hard to get back to reality...but it makes us all appreciate the diversion that much more.
